Hello and Welcome to the Dueling Club, where you'll learn One Spell at a time.
We're here and happy to help you kick off the countdown to a New Year. Oh goodness we need to get back into the swing of things. And what better way to do it than to give you all an episode a day for the next couple of days?!
With this episode we continue our deep dive into Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is Season 4, Episode 23 (if you count all the Bonus Episodes) where we go over Chapter 18 - The Weighing of the Wands. After Harry becomes the fourth Triwizard Champion (we know, it doesn't make sense to us either), it seems like very few people believe him that he didn't enter himself. So we watch him be isolated and mistreated at Hogwarts in a way we've only seen once before. Again, why does everything happen to him? We also get to see him reap some of the benefits of being a Champion. Let's continue on this journey with him and see where it leads us!

With Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students now at Hogwarts, we get to see who all wants to represent their schools in this legendary and dangerous inter-school competition. And we also get to see some students who aren't of age (we see you, Weasley Twins!) try to enter with some interesting consequences. But just as always seems to happen with our favorite trio, something we didn't see coming happens. Let's find out what happens together!

With this episode we continue our deep dive into Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is Season 4, Episode 19 (if you count the bonus Episode) where we go over Chapter 15 - Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. We see our favorite witch and wizards being put through their paces with all of their magical school subjects. Even Hagrid is giving them more work! Why is everything getting more difficult?! Luckily they have a small break in the work when the other schools competing in the Triwizard Tournament come to Hogwarts. How will they get there and what will they be like? Let's find out together!

Again, pretty much all wizards have and use them (except for Uagadou). And they're a pretty big deal, especially from what we've seen in Goblet of Fire so far (poor Winky). In this continuation of the topic, we talk about wand cores and wand makers. Seriously, there was so much information that we had to split it up. With this episode we continue our deep dive into Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is Season 4, Episode 16 where we go over Chapter 14 - The Unforgivable Curses. It's finally time to see the famous (or is it infamous) Mad-Eye Moody in action and the trio and all their friends may not be ready for it. There are some things that even adults can't handle, but Moody and apparently Dumbledore think otherwise. What are those things, you may ask? Let's find out together!

With this episode we continue our deep dive into Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This is Season 4, Episode 15 where we go over Chapter 13 - Mad-Eye Moody. On the first day of classes, we get to see some interesting stuff in Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, and even Divination. But more importantly, we get to finally see the famous (or is it infamous) Mad-Eye Moody in action. And we're a little impressed... as is everyone else who sees him action. We can't wait to see more of him - let's enjoy this new character together.
